• Copy each assigned term.
  
• Each term is to be written in cursive.
• The correct paper heading must be written in cursive in the top margin of the paper.
  
• Read the assigned pages in your text to locate the definition of each word. 
  
• Do not use a dictionary or your glossary - unless expressly permitted to do so.
  
• Definitions should be written in complete sentences and should echo the term. 
  
• Write the page number from the text on which the definition was found.
• Any term marked with an asterisk (*) requires a drawing or photograph.  No written definition is needed.
• An additional source of extra credit is to select two additional terms (not found on the original list) and define these.
• Spell all words correctly, use proper grammar, and punctuation.  Points will be deducted if any errors are found.
• Mistakes should NOT be crossed out.  Use erasable pen, white labels, or pencil.  Neat work is mandatory.
