The purpose of this page is to assist both parents and students.
There are references, activities and games to supplement class activities and the class procedures.

Weekly Spelling Activities

Monday	Unit words will be introduced; students will copy these on loose leaf paper.  Correctness of their copying will be checked.  Work should be completed in cursive.
Tuesday	Students will choose three activities from the list found here, or two activities from here. Weekly spelling enrichment will be posted; this is optional but will "boost" a low grade on spelling homework.  Points earned will depend upon the quality of each student's work. For an example of this visit is for students to visit this site, create a word search and complete it.
Thursday	Students will submit chosen activities (started on Tuesday) for grading.
Friday	The weekly spelling test will be taken.  Challenge words will be given each week.
