Grading distribution
10%
Oral presentations:  Students will make regular speeches, and presentations.
5%
Preparedness: punctuality, attentiveness, and participation
25%
Homework: thorough, correct, and punctual
25%
Assessments:  Tests, quizzes, article reviews, skits, power point presentations, videos, and projects.
35%
Laboratory activities:  experimentation, clean up, cooperative group activities, analysis, and presentation.

*The standard format for all labs is found here. 
*Labs that are turned in on time may be corrected for full credit.
*Lab revisions must, however, be received by the revision  deadline.
 




A note about due dates

  • Late work is not accepted in middle school and high school.
  • Late work will have consequences in 4th grade.
    • Students will lose points each day an assignment is late.
    • For major projects and labs, students will lose points each day that work is late.
  • Chronic lateness or failure to turn in assignments will result in a parent-teacher-student conference.
