A. Laboratory Procedures |
||
| 1. |
Students
are responsible to leave the classroom clean and picked up.
Each student will clean his or her desk and put away materials and art
supplies - in the same place these were obtained from. |
|
| 2. |
Failure
to show proper respect for laboratory materials may result in loss of
lab privileges. |
|
| 3. |
Students
will learn and be tested on safety procedures. It is expected
that students will make safety a high priority in their experimentation. |
|
| 4. |
Dishes,
beakers, test tubes, glasses, and other supplies used during labs will
be cleaned by
the students in the sinks; sinks will then be cleaned. |
|
| 5. |
Students
are not to touch, spoil or otherwise alter experiments in process in
the science room. |
|
| |
B. Art materials (paint, clay and construction paper) |
|
| 1. |
Students
are to cover work surfaces prior to painting or working with clay. |
|
| 2. |
It
is important for students to inform Mrs. Snyder when materials are
running low; this permits the ordering of replacements. |
|
| 3. |
Paint
brushes are to be thoroughly cleaned following student use. |
