Water Cycle
Density, Convection and the Movement of Water in the Atmosphere


THE TASK
Create a colorful poster explaining the water cycle.
Carefully read and follow the instructions describing the format for the poster.
Use the poster paper distributed in school.
Use a landscape orientation for your poster.

SPECIFICS
On the bottom three to four centimeters of the poster, draw a lake or ocean, and a beach rising to a mountain.
Show ground water, its location and the direction that it flows.
Show runoff and the direction it flows.
Assume the temperature is 25°.
Use a purple arrow to show the flow or movement of water particles in the process of evaporation.
Indicate the direction water particles are moving with the point of the arrow.
Draw a cloud.  Show where the process of condensation occurs and what is formed.
Show what happens when water dropets become too heavy.
Show ( using a symbol from this website ) the type of precipitation you would expect to occur.
Label the process.
Show the direction of water movement in the form of precipitation you choose.
