1. Identify Endangered Species
Look at these web sites; locate endangered species.  2  3  4  5 Create a prioritized list of your four choices to submit. Write one sentence about your reasons for studying the organisms you have chosen.

2. Investigate the impact of endangered species on an ecosystem or biome
Once you have selected (and received approval to study) your endangered animal, find out why your species is endangered.  What are its predators?  What does it eat?  What would happen to the food chain your species is involved in if your species was to become extinct. In class, students will create a poster urging others to help stop the threats to endangered species.

3. Research your chosen animal, bird, plant, insect, reptile, amphibian or fish
Create a poster to urge others to care for our environment - specifically doing what is needed to help your species.  Develop a fact sheet to distribute.  Create a T-shirt to advertise your organism.
