Students
will have
homework almost every
night. |
Students
are expected to bring
written homework to class. |
Parents
should not bring
homework to school if students forget it; this perpetuates student
irresponsibility. |
Parents
are encouraged to
oversee, but not over edit student work. Students learn more by
completing work themselves and taking full responsibility for their
efforts. |
Homework
should be done neatly,
carefully, and with maximum effort. |
Homework
that is completed at home should be kept in the
appropriate
section of the student's home folder. |
Students
should check that their
homework has proper assignment details and identification (following
the header
format.) |
Students
should remove homework from their folder and place it on their
desk. The homework manager will collect it - no talking will
occur during this process. |
Students
should wait until the
student designated to collect homework picks this up from them during
class. (All students will have an opportunity to perform this
task.) Homework collection will be verified by Mrs. Snyder. |
Student
homework will be graded
and returned in a timely fashion. |
Explanations
for failure to turn
in homework when due are not required. Students may turn in
homework the following day, but will receive a reduced number of points. |
